Quick Shiv question pleeeeze..

can anyone please tell me if their Shiv has a wedge shaped spacer between the front derailleur and the braze on ?

I'm lost as to how the derailleur can foul the chainring as below:



.. unless the braze on is bent !
Edit: just to confirm, I tried a different mech on there and the problem was the same. So its not a bent mech problem! thx
