Hey what is worse than training with cancer? How about training with a brain tumor!
Last year this time I shared with the board that I was diagnosed with Melanoma...it's a fast growing form of cancer caused by sun exposure.
In early December they found on my first surgery site a new growth. Then in late December I developed headahces. I have been thru a series of test, chest and pelvis CAT scan, MRI of the brain and a PET scan of the torso and brain. The results are in well since Tuesday.... and I have a brain tumor in the left frontal lobe of my brain. So that's why I fell off my bike in November! The tumor is approximately 3.3 centimeters. I'm scheduled to see a neurosurgeon today.
My question is, since Lance started this way...well it make me faster in Sunday's half marathon? Can I still do St. A's and Florida 1/2 IM?
