Based on personal experience (wife, she loves em), i recommend you go for a consult just to get you comfortable discussing it with strangers. Then after you get the first opinion, go get 5 others. If you want to go for it, do a reality check. Don't go for the female Doctor because she's a she, and don't go for the Doc with the best boobed nurse because he did hers etc. I recommend you go for the one that has done the surgery the most. Travel if necessary. I think experience with all of the variables is a plus. I also recommend you show up to a few tri's ask the ladies who have had the surgery what they think. Ask for recommendations. I'm sure they will be happy to tell you all about it. It's a major surgery with all the risk you should expect to have. Another risk; my neighbor got in a car wreck and the shock caused her to get capsular contracture in one. The replacement was as much $ as the first job. I wouldn't be surprised if a second job is needed sometime later, so go ahead and double or triple the price as the real cost of ownership. Enjoy, pictures or it didn't happen.
