That takes a lot gall to criticize him for "bashing" others athletic efforts - nothing in his post was as rude as your comment about your BF making "a lot of you weekend warriors look HORRIBLE". I'm with ya on the fact that everybody needs to be ready to show up ready to handle whatever the race throws at you (and a swim being cancelled, especially in a Great Lake is always a possibility). But you could have made your point without insulting the people on the forum and all the people who showed up at the race.
