I got to say I'm a little surprised by the response. There's a huge thread with people speculating about the bike. I can answer all the questions that you might have about the bike. I'm going to guess that outside Cervelo people, I'm within the first 20 people to see the bike.

Can you run a mechanical groupset with it? What storage and hydration options are there? How much faster than a P5 is it? Will it come in a non disc version for those of us who already have lots of wheels? Can you run normal extensions with it? What's the fit like?

High level question: Is the FVL pic accurate?

That should clear up a lot of initial questions.

Modify the front end, subtract the rim brakes, add disc brakes, add electronic shifting, probably painted stealth black or nude carbon over the 1996 green but this should get the OP going. Note, I have no info being a local age group rider.

There is a photo of it floating around online now. It's the bike in the photo that the guy posted the other day on some desert road. The photo I saw looked like it was the cover of some magazine or something "Cervelo Intervals Fall 2016". It's a beam bike but the frame stays against the front tire (kind of like the new diamond back) all the way to the crank, below the midpoint of the front wheel. The beam angles slightly down for a few inches, then goes back to an upward angle. Built in bento box, and a water bottle holder on a post above the crank (kind of looks like it defeats the purpose). Disc brakes. Black with white lettering and a little red trim on the beam and whatever that piece is behind the front tire. To me it looks like a response to Dimond by the dominant tri bike company, turning the beam bike into a me too product, and adding a little flare.

They better be able to add about 200mm of spacers to that in order to accommodate many of the people who will buy (aka, afford) this bike...;)

First thing I thought of too. That's very low. Maybe the frame is 2 sizes too small for that rider, and the saddle up in the sky? Hard to tell.

is it plugged in? there seems to be a power cord in the bottom of the picture. and what is the stop sign for?

Probably also why it is using an enve aerobar and extensions.

actually maybe because ENVE designed these rims specifically for discs, etc. which may or may not make up for the un-aero aspects of discs? Zipp hasn't done so, I believe.

Cervelo in the past worked closely with 3T and Rotor. Maybe now its a new relationship with Enve for wheels, aerobar and extensions.

Actually, this is the perfect ride for bike touring....
Disk brakes, fits up to 32 tires with room for your tent, sleeping bag and a change of clothes.

Exactly, perfect for touring. That must be why We have only seen shots of the bike with people sitting up, never on the bars.

And given they've also worked closely with Magura I'm surprised to see that they are running those silly cable actuated 'hydro' calipers. Surely it couldn't be that hard to stick a disc caliper on those RTT levers.

Hydraulic disc brake has to be a nightmare to travel with. Really hard to get the fork of the bike. Maybe thats why they have cable, so you can disconnect whiteout bleeding. Hope the fork steerer is a bolt that connects from the topp true the stem and headtube, and doubles as the headset. That is a solution for easy travel with discbrakes.
