what is that poem about cycling racing?
I read a poem a while back that was written from the pov of a guy arriving a race, putting his bike together as people in a nearby cafe looked on. He comments on how empty their lives are etc.

Does anyone know the name or author of that poem? I thought it was called "the racer" but a search yielded no such poem.
