What is a sweat rash?

You are perhaps the frailest super-athlete I have ever known.

Yes you can swim with it. There is nothing over the counter that will get rid of it quickly. A dermatologist can give you something that will clear it right up if it does not go away soon.

I get this a lot. I swim with it no problem. To get rid of it the best I've found is to keep it dry & clean. Gold-Bond sometimes helps.

I can't workout if there isn't a shower handy immediately after.

just gotta go out of El Paso...get sick all the time here...was never sick before except once when I was 15.
It looks like the super dry climate doesn't work for us.
my wife is the same. before we got here, never ever sick, then allergies and sick quite often...

forgot to answer...
sweat rash is when the pores do not clear up, when it's hot, and they get plugged and you get some kind of rash.
also called prickly heat

Corn starch sprinkled on before and after working out.
I asked around and got a second vote for Gold Bond powder.

Here is 90% of what a dermatologist learns in school:
1. If it is wet, make it dry.
2. If it is dry, make it wet.
3. If you don't know what it is, cut it off and put it in a jar.

I've got a spare bedroom. Do you eat much? Do laundry? Will you fill my gu bottles and maintain my bike?

Avoid corn starch like the plague though if it's yeast/fungus related.

You'll just be feeding it.

A guy on my Xc team was allergic to his own sweat. He broke out in little hives after every workout. Was on antihistamines and something else if I remember correctly.
Of course we just laughed are arses off at him.
