whats the ideal saddle position for TT....nose down or level? or is it personal preference? thanks

Level or down SLIGHTLY is best, from I have experienced and read. That being said if you stand at the exit to T1 at just about any triathlon you will see some of the most horrendous bike set-ups with seats all kinds of crazy angles and positions.
My sense is that some of this is from the aggressive positioning that is advocated by a number of people in the sport. Problem is, that many are not that flexible, have had limited time riding a bike( in years) and the aggressive position that they have adopted either by their own choice or the fitting of an "expert" has lead them to do some wacky things to achieve some form of comfort.
