road bike?
after looking through the Felt thread-- I am looking for some advice. I have a nice tri bike that I spend quite a bit of time on, but I also miss riding a road bike. My current road bike is an old (~1990) Cannondale. It is pre-STI shifting, meaning it has downtube shifters and components that are pretty well worn. I'm looking for a road bike to ride 20-30% of my riding time on--- so I don't want to spend a huge amount of money on it. I'm thinking $1500 or less. I think that would be cheaper than trying to upgrade my old Cannondale frame. Anybody have any suggestions for me?

Thanks in advance.

Buy a groupo for $1200 without wheels. Keep your stem, fork, bars, wheels, seat, and seat post.
