hello to all, I am enjoying all the "tri-talk" which I was not getting on "another forum". I do have a question about tri/TT bars. I am building up a new TT bike and torn between the one piece bar set up (Carbon X or Deda's Aeroblue) compared to the traditional cowhorn w/ clamp ons. Any feedback on Carbon X or Deda's Aeroblue?

I use the carbon x and it's great...as long as you have the perfect length top tube and don't need to adjust the reach length, as the stem is not adjustable. I think it comes in a 90mm length and a 120mm length or something of that nature. Trouble is, it is only a limited number of sizes.

The one piece bars are more aero, more expensive as well as being for some people more difficult to get a good fit. To give you a bit of an idea of the aero advantage here is the Vision Tech site. http://www.visiontechusa.com/visionaero.asp

Also just wondering about your handle. Are you a chiropractor? If so that means I'm not alone here.

I just put on Deda clipons on profile base bars and find I am really liking the Deda's. Light and comfy. Eay to adjust compared to my old profiles

There is a very good discussion on the bike sport michigan website comparing different bar setups

the bars you mention are covered on this site
