OK... last of my dumb questions, I promise...

Is there any problem with loosening then retightening the seatpost? I discovered that I can put my bike standing upright and secure in the back of my FJ IF i take out/drop down the seatpost. It's the Cervelo Carbon if that makes a difference.

If course my friend rides a 54 Specialized and doesn't have to do this. Hmph.
