define that bike part / bike ( x-terra rules / porn )
x-terra sez 29ers are allowed, but not cyclocross bikes. and drop bars are not permitted but bar-ends and, presumably other types of bars other than aerobars are. clear as mud ( pun . . )

is this a drop bar, or a mustache bar with a little rise to it, wouldja say ??

does the rigid fork make this a cyclocross bike, or do the fattires make it a 29er ?? howzabout if it had some skinnier 40 mm tires ?? what if it had really skinny 30 mm cyclocross tires, but a flat bar ???

I would email the powers-that-be with a picture, and ask for a judgement. Too close to call for me!

In the frontal photograph of your bicycle, you saddle appears to be tilted. Take a close look. Perhaps your saddle or saddle rail is broken? or your seatpost is possibly damaged?

email it to Dave at Xterra, you might want to put a bottle of budwiser in the bottle cage, think that's his favorite, the beer would definetely help to sway his decision

Hmmm, On-One midge bars, copy of the old WTB dirt drops. I saiz they are drop bars.

Sweet singlespeed 29'er. I have heard those Sibex Ti forks can be pretty flexy under braking.

Drop bars, definitely. Nice ride. I guess from the single speed you are a flat lander or just a beast!

P.S. martin - speaking of wicked japanese bike parts . . .

the wife brought home a set of keirin approved hardened steel track chaintugs for it ( now THAT, is a woman - can your woman do that ?? ) , and a crazy spring steel and elastomer track top tube protector. i feel like a samurai - " i need japanese steel "

commuter bike ( ? ). :) maybe in 20 years. for now it is an XC race-bike. :) :) i'll be blowin' by epics and blurs and anthems and whatall ( . . . linkages creaking, derailleurs and chains bangin around . . . ) like a mofo on that rascal. :) :) :) ( note smiley faces )
