decisions, decisions, decisions

Alright! It's the sunniest warmest day we've had in a *long* time...therefore, I'm faced with a delima...

should I:

a. Ditch work to go ride

b. Ditch work to rollerblade

c. Ditch work to go to the grocery store to buy some brats and buns

d. Ditch work to get the brats, and then sit in my backyard with a bucket full of ice and Tattinger champagne

c. Ditch work, get the brats, but exchange the champagne with cold beer

e. Ditch work, ride, then hurry home to drink a beer outside while the sun is still out

Thanks in advance for any advice! (It's been a long shitty winter, so naturally I'm totally stoked!!!)

meow.

Ditch work. Hop on your bike wearing a backpack. Go to the store, get brats, onions, peppers, spicy mustard, buns, and beer. Pack backback. Ride home. Cook brats. Drink beer. Achieve total enlightenment.

Oh yeah, burn rollerblades. ;-)

Rollerblading is gay.

These are your best choices;

c. Ditch work, get the brats, but exchange the champagne with cold beer

e. Ditch work, ride, then hurry home to drink a beer outside while the sun is still out

Definately ditch work and ride. You can do everything else tomorrow.

Look at it this way, if this were your last day alive, how would that affect your decision?

Ditch work. I'll ditch my brats. You ride to my house with champagne. I'll massage your buns.

it's not gay if a hot chic (like myself) is cruising along like a bad ass in them.

wait, who am I kidding...I hobble along like an idiot, nearly grabbing every passerbyer in desperation not to fall.

You'r right. They are gay!!

Ditch work - On the way home stop at the store for beer and brats. Go for a ride, come home, kick back and eat the brats and drink the beer even if the sun has gone down. Enjoy.

I should have thought about this instead of running at lunch time. At least it was warm and sunny in DC.

yes, you're right. a 15 or 20 mile ride won't take long, provided I leave now, there's plenty of room to enjoy a beer outside later.

cheers!

How old are you? If you're over 25 don't go rollerblading..

Why not? Last time I was in Nice I saw many old people having a good time rollerblading in the Promenade des Anglais. I don't mean to say that over 25 is old. I am talking retired people.

Roller blading is gay unless you're talking about those inline freaks who spend $2000 on a rig. One joined my friend and I in a mtn bike pace line at 24-25mph for 10 miles. Nothing gay about that.

Retired people is one thing, but seeing 45 yo's rollerblading with full knee+elbow pads and a helmet is just funny.

But! If you are a hot 21 yo girl, you can rollerblade all you want (preferably in tight clothes and near my house).

Brats and any adult beverage tastes so much better when you EARN it !!!

Ride, ride hard, then enjoy some sinfull food.

I am a mid 30s hot man who like tight clothes. So I guess XEN355 would love to see me rollerblading next to his house.

Ooops!! You are right. Rollerblading is gay. However, inline speedskating is very cool. I used to ride at the Rose Bowl and I remember some of these mfr's drafting off of me for 10 laps (more than 30 miles) and I would be averaging 21.5 mph. On the back side, they would be right with me at about 28-29MPH.

Pacing with a friend, yeah. We were trying to lose the inliner for fear of being passed. He actually took a pull just to show us up.

23-24 is not that incredibly fast when you consider the average speed for some elite mtn races is close to 20 mph off road. You must be a roadie.
