Buy the Slice 3 and buy a used set of race wheels. You should have money left over for a Powertap or a used Qaurq possibly. Done and done.

the major difference on the Hi mod is a few grams.

I picked up the Slice 5, and upgraded everything myself. Paid $1600, the swapped out the components for Ultegra 6700. wheel wise, i am riding on Mavic Ksyriums, and upgrading soon to some carbon clinchers.

used or new? Your size? Ultegra what 6600 or 6700?

I know that Nytro.com has the new 105 for 1300 or 1500 i havent checked.

you can probably do what i did, otherwise, a new Slice with Ultegra 6700 the Mavic's Cosmic Wheels it comes with and the Vision Crank, i say is a steal! and I'd go for it.

New 54 not sure yet about what ultergra. Was also looking at the slice 4 with the scram force on it as well. What did you ride before?

I went from an Orbea, to a Felt to a Slice.

No Regrets. Im a Shimano guy, i had Sram Rival on my Orbea, was a bit too noisy, after that i went over to Ultegra, at the time, i couldnt afford anything else, since then i still cant afford much. But i am very happy with the 6700 Ultegra Groupo.

I believe 2011 comes with Ultegra 6700. I say go for it. I am 5'11, i should have gone for a 56cm, instead i opted for a 54.

I bought the Cannondale slice 4 (Rival Group Set) about a year ago. First bike in 15 years that did not have a shimano groupset and have not regretted the decision. The cool thing about the Slice 4 is the RTC shifters - well worth it.

Always go for the best wheel you can afford. Cheaper bike better wheels!

Where can you get a slice 3 for $2000? I want one
