Last season I developed bursitis in my right foot on the heel. This season.. left foot.

I was reading about cycling shoe fit today and realized this might be my problem. I know cycling shoes are supposed to fit damn tight.. but mine have a bit of play (time to buy new shoes methinks). Could this be the cause of my bursitis though?
