any advice on racing back to back (day to day) races? things to avoid or things to remember?

Eat well after your race, stretch/massage, leg raises, and sleep are some of the best methods of recovery I know. Depending on how hard the first race was on my body, I sometimes get some aspirin or advil to limit the swelling.
Try to get some food with high protein, some salt, high carbs and low sugar. I personally like eggs, toast, spaghetti with meatballs or montreal spiced steak.
Also remember to hydrate well both before and after the race.

good advice thank you. I am just worried about how my muscles will react with doing a sprint distance one day then a half Ironman the next. definitely protein and massage, great idea!
