Sidi T2 - What changed?

Is the T2 really any different than the T1? I see they now say it's fully lined. I didn't think the T1 was, but then again, it was a softer leather.

Straps pull closed in opposite directions. I think that the upper strap closes to the outside which may make it a bit easier to close quickly out of T1, especially if you leave the lower strap cinched down.

No softer lining or anything? Just the soft Lorica from the T1?

I can tell you that the Sidi and Shimano lasts fit completely different feet. I have both and have been working for over a year to be comfortable in the Shimanos...no luck. No matter how I mount the cleats, they make my feet, achilles, and knees hurt. The Sidis have always been like gloves for me (several different models over many years).

If the Shimanos fit you well, best to try the Sidis before you buy...they might not work (and vice versa).

The only difference between the T1 and T2 is that one has a carbon sole and the other does not. Save your money and buy the less expensive model.

Nope. T1s were available with a carbon sole.
