Just out of curiosity, how do the aerodynamics of the base bar compare with the 3-4 year old vision tech alloy base bar?
Will you come out with any other widths besides 42cm?

We don't have any data specific to the older Vision Tech. But with all the aluminum basebars we have tested that are UCI legal, the differences are insignificant. The more important issues that are significant to basebar drag are how the basebar gets your cables out of the wind and what brake lever you choose.

You should probably direct this to waitebe, but from page 1 of this thread, it appears, so. That will work really well for me so I can get rid of my the spacers on my steerer.
