Zipp disc vs Gray disc
Searched the forum but didn't find much info. I'm refering to the current Zipp 900 tubular disc and current Gray tubular disc.

Any thoughts on comparison of these two discs?
I've heard several things about the Gray being the older Zipp.
Any aero data on the Gray vs Zipp disc?

Thanks

Zipp sold the mold to their old (non-dimpled) wheels. Many companies use them, so it's very possible that Gray does. I've seen older 404 rims sold as Cane Creek and Ritchey.

As for the aero comparison: a flat disc is a flat disc. The new 900 has dimples, if you hold stock in that.

I have the Gray disc wheel and I talked to somebody at Gray Wheels. They said that their disc is from Zipp, as in Zipp makes it for them. All of there other wheels Gray makes and are separate from Zipp.
