Zipp 808 inflation limit?
I got a Zipp 808 tubular front wheel through the ST classifieds. Decals were removed before I got it (which was fine 'cuz I remove them anyway). I never thought about whether or not there might be an inflation/psi limit. I only run mine at 125 psi or less, so it's not an issue for me. But a buddy of mine had an issue at a race over the weekend and it made me wonder if there's a limit. I have a set of Zipp 303 clinchers that are a few years old and they have a 125 psi limit.

Anybody know about the 808 tubular wheels?

Thanks.

In the '07 catalog, there's a column for max inflation pressures. Clinchers are listed, then a big gray box for the tubulars--so unless something has changed since then, I'd say 'no'. .

I believe that the suggested/optimal psi for any Zipp wheel is 120-130.
