Joanna was kicked early in the swim and it broke her nose. She still managed to come in second overall in the swim and win the race. She is one tough lady! Z

Very very nice Joanna! Broken nose?! Man, that's tough.
And Lauren Jensen finished third. She was at the first 1/2IM I ever did last year. After crusing to an easy win, she was out on the course, cheering us on and handing out water at the aid stations. Very classy.

Excellent. Lets hope she has a decent race at Kona this year...talented lady...in every area of her life...

Great race us the women. Lauren is my coach and she had a wonderful race - but can you believe at 3:16 marathon for Joanna. Tough chick.
