I just ordered some 2011 Firecrest 808s, should be delivered next week. Are you worried about compatibility with the width of the rim?

Why call the manufacturer when you can ask on slowtwitch and get a smart ass answer and then get defensive because you *couldn't* find the contact info for the manufacturer.

That may be true, but it's also a 100% true and correct answer.

I'll admit - when I was thinking about getting a speed concept, I posted on here asking about "legacy" SRMs and their compatibility with the speed concept - but I also called the assocated parties immediately after doing that - for two reasons.

1> People on ST could be wrong.
2> Once I had the answer, I could share it on slowtwitch.

Personally - when I spend that much cash on something, I'd rather get the correct answer from the horses mouth - rather than trust ST.
