XXX Lite Carbon TT Aerobar - release date?
Does anyone know when these will be available for sale in the U.S.? I'm starting to finalize my race setup for next season (in particular Ironman Arizona) and I want to get the details lined up soon. I hope to train on a completely kitted out race bike through the winter to determine any fit, comfort, etc. issues well in advance of race day.

I'm really interested in the S-Bend extensions that Cam Widoff was rocking at IMH and the USPS boys were riding at TDF.

Can anyone help me?

Thanks

Wow! That's going to make a lot of tri bikes handle better even without a decent fork, right? That's about 400-500 grams less than some bars on the market. Hmmm....

MSRP is $600 according to Bontrager. I've seen one company in the UK selling them for 234.99 British Pounds which is equivalent to $430-450 depending on exchange rate, but they say they don't ship to the US. I'm waiting on a response from them.

Five years ago I'd have said that was an outrageous price, but with the spiralling prices of all the new carbon bars, it seems darn reasonable.

Of course I still have to remind myself that $600 is more than the average non-triathlete would pay for an entire bike.

Can anyone post a pic of the complete S-Bend aerobars with the base and everything as well as a retailer who has 'em in stock. All the HED site has is a small pic of the S-Bend part.

Thanks

Are you talking just clip ons OR one piece bull horns with extensions?

One piece bull horns with extensions, besides $495 for just clip-ons would be considered rape.

Who cares? The bar they are selling is not the same as the bar USPS rode in the tour. I saw one, it looked like a Profile bar- not a cool fast bar.

Does anyone have any info on these? I hopped back on the P3 last night for the first time in months with my new position and felt like 'buttah' and now I'm jonesin' for a new toy and these look like they might do the trick.

Thanks
