I know this is a dumb question. What is the best way to mount C02 and tube to my X-lab rear water cage. When I put the C02 cartridge in there it is loose.

It depends on your exact setup. I use the Xlab X-Nut for the CO2 and velcro straps for the tube.

Had the same problem and kept losing CO2. Stick a bit of plumbers tape around the thread first and it'll stay in place.
I put a little teflon tape around the threads. Helps prevent the vibration issue. Also, for my extra tube and lever, I just use a velcro strap on the bottom side of the xlab and wrap it around. It comes undone quickly for a fast tube change.
