Ekimov what a stud! I raced against him 15 years ago; fresh off the boat he was kicking our (us riders) asses! Now, he still riding his bike for a living and I’m riding a desk chair. Sweet!

This is amazing. But seriously, before reading this, couldn't I have won a small wager from you by asking if you thought Ekimov had been in the tunnel more times before or after his first olympic TT medal? I mean, who would have guessed the right number of total wind tunnel hours for the TT gold medalist in 2000, and the silver (gold?) medalist in 2004 was exactly zero?

You don't need to go into the tunnel if the person positioning you has been in one, and knows what they are doing.

So I'm not suprised at all.
