[reply]Did you try Tri Tech Multisport in Columbus?[/reply] yes i did. They were not that helpful, they said maybe december and were trying to convince me to come get fited first, maybe a 48 wouldn't be my size and I would need something else. after I explained that Phil fitted me for 3 hours and I wasn't a newbie, i know what I need. plus the guy said that NOONE has 48cm, they are not about to stock such small frame. i would need to order and all that.

I think I saw that size on Nytro's site when I was looking around. They were on sale - not sure what the shipping is.

Marisol, Call Bill at Mission Bay. He's always incredibly helpful, and buys enough from Cervelo that they may be able to pull some strings???? If it is to be found, he'll be able to get it, and he's extremely good at what he does.

Go to the Cervelo factory, chain yourself to the flagpole and go on a hunger strike until someone brings one out.

That surprises me. Did Bill have any suggestions? He usually has a way to get things if they're out there.

I don't remember who I talked to but they didn't suggest anything besides "we don't have it"... I can call back I guess. Endurosports was the most helpful so far. Others didn't act like they wanted to sell me a bike, besides the guy in columbus. I am not bashing any shops here for the record. i don't know any of these shops, this is just first impressions from a first phone call from someone looking to buy a specific bu=ike.

the P3C is a wonderful bike, but there are others that'll do you just as well. as long as it's a 650c bike with proper geometry you should be in pretty good shape with, say, a saber (you shouldn't spend the money for a bike with a rear wheel cutout when getting it in 650c means you don't get the cutout -- hence the saber over the tiphoon or the blade).

or how 'bout this. i'll bet there's a glut of P3 48cm bikes, as this is getting phased out. bet you can get a good price.

You could try it, but you'd need a visa first and the Public Security Bureau (that's what police are called in China) would clear you out pretty quickly.

slowman, thanks for your input. I am open to others bikes but want a carbon bike. I just like them the best, I have a ti road bike and used to ride a cannondale. My thing with the P3C is that I got to get fitted on it and rode it. that's it. Already know exactly where and how to put spacers, measurements and all that. that is a huge gheadache for me. I wanted to ride a QR just couldn't find one. I am not that knowledgeable, I need help getting fitted and don't trust everyone. So it makes it hard to buy a bike. Especially since I bought my last bike trusting the guy, but the bike ended up too big. does that make sense? Buying the P3 at this point seems logcial and easy. Not a big project besides finding the darn bike. I am open to suggestions, for sure. But again, thanks for replying.

Sophie

I will get a pic up of my new ride next week when it is built up - Orbea Ordu

You may want to consider this as an option - full carbon- a few hundred less than the P3C for the same spec level!!

I don't think the Ordu comes in 650c.

Have u considered the Aegis T2? They have a 48cm in a 650c. Geometry is almost identical to P3C. Good luck searching.

well that aegis is a possibility. I currently ride a trident and my cracked frame is at the manifacture. We will have to see what they say about it. i doubt they will rplace it, but if they did, I would want something different, a 49 and maybe the T2
