Re: What is your favorite "unique" tri bike color/design schemes? [53x12]

I've been dying to see a fully matte black bike with black groupset, black rear disc, and black trispoke... no logos, pure stealth. Since I can't find any pictures to show what I mean, does that make it unique?

if cervelo would sell bikes like this, i'd buy them in a heartbeat:
that's back when the soloist carbon was a prototype - nothing but matte black and the words "vroomen-white design" on it. perfection.

mile2424, the image you tried linking did not work. It says it is Protected by Owner with no image being shows. This happens a lot when you try posting images. Why not try using imageshack or tinypic or something similar to upload your picture? I would love to see what you have posted.

My favorite is the new blue triad SL. http://www.rideblue.com/triadsl.php
L-O-V-E it..just can't afford it. I'll have to settle for my 'lowly' SP.

That bike definitely looks better in person than it does in pictures.

The only thing that Soloist prototype needs is some BLACK bar tape.

I guess these would be "unique" since I picked out the colors myself!

Great looking bike, but do you actually ride it with the saddle tilted down that far?

I've been working on that myself, sub a tri spoke for an 808 though.

I've got black nokon cables that I haven't gotten around to installing, maybe this weekend I'll do that and take a pic with the race wheels on. Also, there are now some subtle gloss black flame decals around the HT (not seen in photo). Trying to find a matte black TT ring but so far no luck.

My heart too, but the plasma 3 frame set alone cost more than TWICE the s-works transition.

It's a Trek TTX which was warranty repainted after the paint developed some defects.
New paint really brought new life to the bike!

That's a nice bike!
Just wondering, how much does it cost, ball park, to have a bike painted? It must be possible to do.
Would love to..
