They had a race in WA too. It wasn't renewed this year. Scuttlebutt is Tri-Cities, which also happens to be Washington's wine country area so it jibes with the Facebook post.

Tough Times Don't Last, Tough People Do.

I did Salem in 2022 & thought it was a good race--just the roads were crap on the back half of the ride. Other than that--loved the fast swim & flat run course--only got narrow in a few places which maybe could have been designed a bit better to avoid that...but over all, Salem was good & lots of places to eat. I didn't mind the walk to the start--it was a good workout & prepped things for one last potty break near the bag drop off by the swim start.

 
On the post people recognize the Pic as being from Richland Washington.

The swim most likely be in the Columbia River and be another downhill river swim ;)
