Unofficial passing of the torch for Lionel also?

I mean these young guns are coming in hard. Next year with PTO (especially after Olympics) the racing will get that much hotter. I’m not sure I see him winning much.?
Man this bums me out…

Maybe stepping back up to full distance IM?

First of all there's a Sanders thread for this stuff.
Second the effect of the PTO Tour next year will actually be the opposite for him: the best N American guys (West, Laundry, Kanute and Long on contract) will be racing the tour and he will be able to sweep up the 'cooler' events: I see him winning lots.

Hmm interesting take. Given the faster guys commit. Although I see those talented guys jumping into the bigger races ie Oceanside. Will be interesting to see how PTO plays out.
