3 stages and 2 long breakaways. impressive, especially considering he's like Mr. Glass

Good ride by Tommy D. Once again he shows a flash of brilliance.

And once again Radio Shack shows what a rudderless ship they are this year. 5 guys in the chase group and they don't help until the last 200m to bring back ONE guy. My friend Lucas (SpiderTech) attacked on Independence and then spent more time on the front at the finish than all of them combined. Hope they enjoyed the views because that was pathetic racing.

ST's man crush is killing it today and is actually building his lead and no comments on it yet?

Weak, ST, weak.

Jens has about 40 mins of racing left to go, with 5:10ish lead with 29km to go. He's broken away essentially from the start, and the peloton has all but let him have the stage as they sat up and gave him 1:20+ more time back as they dwindled it down to 3:30 as shortest time gap.

From Boulder:

Awesome for Southerland. 440 watts for 15 minutes up Flagstaff. What a ride.

I was up there and not knowing who was in the break and here comes Jens up the hill in 3rd. Wow. He was deeply locked in the hurt. Just crazy suffering. What a bike rider.

The pride of podunky Virginia, young Joe D. Our boy gives them hell.

Levi just rode away from them. That was an epic effort to take yellow.

Good on Vandevelde.

Indeed.

Teejay is a more complete rider than Joe right now, witness today's tt. Joe whacks him on the climbs but he also has not ridden with any pressure yet. Teejay had BMC up front all day yesterday and pressure to protect yellow. Joe has zero to lose and stays up frontish and goes on the end game climbs. Smart and tough kid. A great GC hope.

Nice to see young guns coming up in a clean(er) environment. US cycling is developing nicely.
