Tubular Newb Question
I've got a tubular race wheel that was put together by a bike shop 2 years ago. I realize they put some sort of sealant in the tube to prevent flats. My question is, is that sealant still good? Or do I need to add some more periodically? Or atleast after 2 years...

Yes, new sealant. And they should be re-glued to the rims.

Agreed that the sealant is no longer any good. I disagree that it needs to be re-glued unless the initial glue job was poor.

Here's a good video to see if the original glue job was good. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=om-srNuxHI8

Thanks guys. Will definitely re-sealant it. And I’ll take it to have the shop look at the glue.
Seems good to me but we’ll see.

Yeah, I purposely linked him. He knows his stuff! The PSIMET events last weekend were a blast. The State Championship course on Saturday was super fun.

I woke up a little sick Saturday and was there 7a-3:30p to do masters, 3/4 and try my hand at fat bikes at the end of the day. Too sick to race Sunday. Still too sick! Did you race Sunday?
