Tri practical jokes. Good for a Friday!
So I am racing Saturday with my best buddy. We will most likely have our transitions next to each other. I will spank him on the swim. He might or might not catch me on the bike and then he will kill me on the run.

I think it would be funny to play some practical joke on him that he discovers in T1. Nothing that would slow him down or cause harm. Just something to make him laugh.

Ideas?

If you have access to children's shoes, replace his running shoes with the kid's shoes. (Leave his shoes in a somewhat obvious location.)

TP his bike.

Steal his towel and replace it with a washcloth.

Write "I'm Mr. Tibbs' Bitch" on his number. (It'll show up in race photos...)

Etc., etc.

Does he put his bike shoes on before leaving T1? (I.e., he doesn't have his shoes already clipped in?)

If so, stuff his shoes with toilet paper.

Replace his sunglasses with little girls' pink ones that you can get for $5 at a drug store.

This really happened to me at St. Anthony's one year but I don't think it was intentional (although I still suspect that Craigster may have had something to do with it :-). I had racked my bike on the brake levers and someone had hung a bag on my handlebars. When I went to derack my bike, the bag prevented me from pulling the bike away from the rack.

Leave a porno mag on his handlebars.

Sorry for all the posts. They keep coming to me...

I'd do something really simply, like leave a picture of a naked dude on his handlebars or drape a large pair of depends over his bike. If you could drop a dildo in his water bottle, that might just be perfect.

My wife taped a little rubber yellow duck on a friends aero bars. He rode the whole race that way and thought it was hilarious.

Put little bells on the laces of his running shoes. LOL

These are spectacular!

I also thought of clipping a playing card to his fork to make that motorcycle sound.

Fill his bike shoes with packing peanuts

Give him an extra water bottle filled with beer.
