Hi! I have a training question on long ride effectiveness. I'm trying to maximize my training time by using my work commute of 13 miles. That gives me two 40 - 60 minute rides a day. My understanding is to really get the long ride benefits I need to really experience the fatigue buildup before my body kicks in the real endurance build. Weekend long rides will still happen.
So the question is - Can I get the same gains from two 45 minute rides as I would from one 1.5 hour ride mid week?
My riding goals revolve around IM's and gravel century rides
