Pretty sure CA is running faster than Raelert. He made up almost 4 minute on Lieto while Raelert made up 2:50

Aggghhh....I'm so conflicted! I want Andreas to catch Crowie, but at the same time I want Crowie to win!

I'm going off the delta from when he hit T2 and the blog updates to Lieto before the pass.

I'm with you! Either way this is going to be INTENSE!

Raelert just passed Bockel like they were in a different race.

I want it to be either Dibens or Wellington.

Dibens would be great for the gutsy ride she had and hanging on for dear life. But Wellington would be great for erasing a 20 minute deficit and running a top 5 marathon (regardless of gender).

I am cool with it being either one of them.

Andreas is FLYING...he's try to catch Crowie early before the "wall". Amazin..

Andreas Raelert is really flying. He went by Dirk Bockel and Luke McKenzie like they were parked. He's now in third and will be on his way to second any second now.

Is andreas going to be able to hold this pace...would make a great race to have him catch crowie.

based just on looking at their stride length, raelert is hauling at a completely unsustainable pace.

He killed himself last year cathching Macca, I think he ran the final mile in 7:30-7:45?

It'll be really interesting to see if he can maintain this pace and keep taking time out of CA. I think AR may start to show SOME signs of wear in the second half, but--with the way he looks right now--I may be totally wrong!
