I wouldn't count Lieto out. He may not have expended as much energy on the bike as he has in past years and the others may have expended more staying with him.

I did understand what you mean.... But on crowie point of you.... It s hard for a group to attack you when you are riding second on line all the time.... It s smart racing. Annoying for others but as Peter Reid told me once, at world champ you don't miss one occasion at taking a shot at your opponents mentally or physically...no nice guy...just hit!

Fun day watching anyway...should make for one hell of a war on the run!!!

How about Welchy's comment that "Crowie is always the consummate professional". Really? Where's he been?

once a meme catches on it can never die

lance trains harder than everyone
craig is always professional
macca is a trash talker
cav is a jerk

etc etc

none of these things is likely entirely true =)

Anyone know anything about Silvia Felt?

She was out of the water in 1:12, but has really moved up on the bike. She seems to be sitting not far back of Wellington and Warriner and just ahead of Carfrae.

Is Lieto riding slower then usual saving himself for the run, or is Craig riding harder then normal and seeing what he has on the run? Haven't heard much about Matt Reed or Tom Lowe. I wonder what kind of run Jacobs has in him today. I did see of a pic that confirmed Henning did infact get his swimskin off in T1 this year.

I would love to see some footage of Chrissie.

Don't think we've seen her since she came out of the water...at least I haven't but I have to lose the feed fairly often.

She is 18 minutes down on the leader. At this point she is not in this race and camera coverage is usually reserved for those at or near the front of the race. That's just how it works in endurance sports.

Why does it seem like the only person I've seen the last hour is Rachel Joyce?

What about this post in the news feed...?

The second group of men are at 2:30 and that includes: Raelert, Boecherer and Bockel. Andreas Raelert is struggling right now - the word is that he is grimacing, grabbing his legs and sitting up a lot.

The blog has more information than even the announcers...pretty sad since they have to talk anyway might as well inform viewers about what's happening with Raelert sitting up and looking bad.

The men's race must have ended or they all dropped out.

It's as if they only have one camera on the course and it's on Rachel. Hmmmm..... Abu Dabi conspiracy?

I'm fine watching the women but once the men hit T2 we need men all the time full time with just brief cutaways for Rinny and CW. It's going to be an all out battle between Crowie and Andreas and I want to see it.

could be Iron War 2

Could be but between Crowie and Vanhoenacker

Anyone know why I might be getting an application error? It says, " An error has occurred in launching the vidoe player. Please try again later."
Or better yet, how do I fix it?
I've not been on yet today - this is my first attempt.

So, if you compared Lieto to Alexander and the chase group on the run...
