Looks like Marino and Luke are working together as it looked like Marino waved him on

Is there a reason why Dibens & Lieto are not using the speedbox on their SCs? Concern over yaw angle issues with the big wing effect it has??

This is why I love Lieto-

If you're a runner and you wait for the run and you fail, no one sees it.

Lieto goes for it on the bike, and if he fails, everyone sees it.

Takes guts.

Sorry, too hard to get ST on the Android phone.

Just a feeling. I think some of the gals are starting to believe that they can beat her.

I'm heading back to T2. Hope I don't have a busy day in the penalty tent.

Julie used a draft box last year,so VERY odd to see her ride without it

So the live tracker says the girls are banking on Julie not even finishing the race...so lets show her 60% of the time. Hey how about the some footage of the race leader? No, your right just give a brief snipet of the men's leader and get right back to Julie.

When he said sit in with the group, I think he meant the fast biker group, hoping they would still have 5 minutes on the 2:45 guys. He believes he can run 2:50 if he saves energy. He tried to prove it at AZ last year by laying off the bike a bit, and he wore racing flats for the first time in an full Ironman. Although the run didn't pan out...

can Alexander hold this pace and still bang out a sub 2:45 marathon? He's having a spectacular ride .... but this is a very different race for him tactically than his previous years in Kona

I say yes. I'd love to see what he can throw down when forced to, such as running side by side by side with Raelert and Vanhoenacker...
