eeek.

Mr. T, you didn't let me know you were "releasing it to the public". :)

Please, if there are any potential employers out there, don't look at the current state of the site as to my abilities. In it's current state, it's crap. It isn't ready yet for public consumption. ;) Feel free to check it out, but don't judge me (yet) on it's look and feel. Plus, I want to make sure I do HID justice [he did the original graphics... can anyone get in touch with him?]

That being said... feel free to vote on Tibbs going in drag for his next Tri.

Nah mate, it's crap, what kind of charlatan are you? I've never seen such a half assed piece of non userfriendly garbage in my life.

Go stand in the corner with a pointy hat on.

Oh, alright then ;

Good stuff, great looking family!
I've got a 12 year old daughter...they grow fast ..so enjoy them while they're little rugrats.

Man! ..you lost a lot of weight from the pics I saw.
Lean and Mean..good JOB.

Have a good season.

Thanks Fish,

I just did my first Marathon on Jan 15th. So I'm still in recovery mode. Though I'm picking things up just now for my 1/2 IM on June 5th (Rock and Rollman in Macon GA), and then my IMFL in Nov.

I was porkin' out quite a bit there. Those pictures are scary to look at now.

Yeah, it was actually my daughters that got me thinking about my weight. I saw some pictures of me at Elises 2nd Birthday party, and just knew I needed to do something or risk not being around to see them grow up. (and their children)

Thanks for the kind words,
Trae

I've opened up the account creation ability on the site. Feel free to log in and post things to the "blogs" area. For now, various features of the site are turned off. I may open them up as Tibbs and I figure out what it is we want to do.

Erik, you have to create a new user account. Slowtwitch.com and teamsecondhandracing.com do not share user info. (They may in the future, Dan???) No clue though. If you want an account for now on the TSR site, you'll need to create an account.

Good point Jim,

I know better than that. I was just sort of caught off guard by Tibbs launching the site to the world without telling me. :) [I was running around trying to tighten a few things up -- like the proverbial chicken]

At any rate, I've pulled the Cervelo sponsor block. Until I can get an official word that they are the sponsors, we'll leave it off.

I don't think there is any law against promoting another company with free banner ads, so I'm leaving the Peaceful Tribe banners up for now. [Go get some cool PT gear!!!] ;)

I hope we can get Cervelo as a sponsor, for that would be the ultimate in rockage! Again, as I posted on the top post of the TSR site, I don't think we should shoot for new equipment. This is going to do two things. Save money for the manufactuers in not having to give up goods that need to help make them money, and well, the other thing is, it'll make it more likely that someone might donate a bike(s) to TSR. [Bikes they've demo'ed?, discounts to people doing a TSR trade in getting a newer model???]

Enough babbling... man, I'm tired.

nub nub, and thanks Jim. ;)

I think HID scrambled off with the cash from sale of the TSR stuff--Tibbs got the bike, but last I heard, no one could reach HID, and some orders had been paid but not filled. This may have been remedied, in which case, disregard the first sentence.

I've just turned on comments for registered users on teamsecondhandracing.com

If anyone couldn't post a comment before, and wanted to, now you can. :)

I would really like to get a discussion going on ideas and thoughts about what TSR should/could/will be. As Tibbs said, this is as much your project as it is ours.

I wouldn't worry, companies like Cervelo usually have to PAY websites big bucks to advertise, I am sure Gerard would let you advertise his stuff for free.

Weren't the sleestacks from the land of the lost? Man, I hated that show as a kid, though, I did have the hots for the girl. (I was what, 10 at the time?)

They had that half-monkey-boy that was a pet, but a friend, but... you never did figure out what he was doing in the group.

And didn't they do everything in front of a projected screen? Noooo please, don't let the fake animated dinosaur get me, argh!!!

heh
me.

There was so much about that show that was claw-your-eyes-out annoying. That monkey thing drove me nuts too. The sleestacks, however, were sublime. I mean, they controlled that whole world with little colored rocks spread out on stone tables!

I never got my stuff... but in Hid's defense, I was living in Dallas when I ordered it, and had moved to Denver by the time he announced the shipping. I DID send correspondence telling him I'd moved, and what my new address was, though...

I never received my TSR stuff either and paid long ago. Not that I really give a damn either way but just want to know what the hell is going on. I PM'd Hid about a month ago and have not had a response to that PM.
