Midgets of the world,

Team shorttwitch is now recruiting!!! We are creating a team of people at or under 1m72 (for the unit challenged yankees, go check online what the hell this is in your crazy non decimal units).

Conditions:
Men: at or under 1m72
Women: at or under 1m60
Be a triathlete, duathlete, runner, cyclist, cross country skier, swimmer.
Have been called shorty, dwarf, midget, kid at least 3 times in the last 4 years
Have the right state of mind, that is: the right height is when both your feet touch the ground ;-)
You're able to find clothes that fit you a Gap Kids

You will actively promote short people in your community, maybe someone can created www.match-shorty.com website...

We are also actively looking for sponsors...so if you know anyone...

According to Google's conversion, I've missed the team by .0072 meters (5'8"). I was 4'6" entering high school. It's strange to not qualify for this team now, but I am still with the Shorttwitchers in spirit.

I'm in 5'8" 143 lbs. right now.

I have no idea how many cm's and kg's that is. I don't care either because our way is better. :-)

I'm 1m60020 (need as much as I can get).

I also have to shop when kids are in school so that I don't get odd looks from mothers and fight with the big kids over the last "Husky" sized pants.

1.61 m (5'3 1/2"), and a full 140 lbs, which puts me right up there at a BMI of 24. Short and husky. I vote no on the 5'8" wannabees.

Cruised a 12:25 IM at LP on only ~20 hrs per week training.

I think I am just over the 172 limit; at 5ft 8in, I get 172.7 cm? I am at the high end of weight for a cyclist at 162 pounds, but my wife is happy as she thinks I am skinny when I get below 160 #. But back to the height, what is it for us in the 5ft 8 in group? Don.

okay, I am in. I was 5'4" as a freshman in college, but the last two times I have gone to the doctor, I was 5'3", and am now 124 lbs (not sure why I am telling you all that, but other people did, so I wasnt sure if it was part of the application process.) Anyway, as the first female member, I am putting in a request to be the vice president of shorttwitch, and I want to be the bus driver when we go to conventions and stuff. Does anyone have a problem with this?
