My guess is that the servers are overloaded... and I won't get in until some people drop off.

a simple job...been paid to do it. He just finish a ironman and perhaps he is injured. But he could sure make some money doing this today.

I find it a little ''amateur'' tu use paddlesboard at the start. they are in the way when the cannon goes off. They have to find a cleaner more fair start process

Rum and coke. Cider and cinnamon whiskey. Can't drink all day if you don't start in the morning

I have a Green's golden ale on the go. It's gluten-free so it's healthy right?

Looks to me like it will be around a 4 man break when the groups come together, as long as the keep the pressure on, maybe just 3 guys. Not sure if it was planned this way, but this was textbook strategy to shake the rest of the group. Now they will have a nice little group off the front to ride for awhile and cause a probable shakeout on the chase to them on the bike, thus getting a smaller lead bike group.

Have a nice selection of beer that i'm going to dive into a little later. If i start now I'll be hammered by the time they get to the bike turnaround. I usually start a Kona Beer thread once I get going.

OF course there are swim primes for a lot of those guys, not from the race, but their sponsors. Is anyone else having trouble with constant buffering?

And out in the waikailoa area there is virtually no wind thus far, and that has not been the norm since I've been here for 3 weeks. Don't know if that is going to be good or bad, you just never know what things mean til the day is over.

My feed was finicky to start, but has been ok for the last few minutes. It seems like a broadcast bandwidth issue. Too bad SOO many people want to watch.
