Maybe I did a poor job in searching, but I haven't seen much excitement in this forum over this. I understand the majority of athletes on this forum have no interest in racing this style race, but as far as mainstreaming this sport I find this a revolutionary advancement. This is exactly what will give triathlon any opportunity of being a spectator sport. If it succeeds thats means more money, exposure, television time, and thus more participation, in our sport at all distances and levels. I hope im not the only one extremely excited about the advancement and evolution of this style racing and what it could bring to our sport. This is the mile event in distance running. Nail biting excitement if you ask me.
