SuperDave or Tom D???
Guys, I put the Tufo Sealant in my tires a month ago. How often do I need to add more? Will the stuff i already added last for a year or is there a time frame I need to reload? I think it did the trick at the Steelehad this weekend, I heard a real short, quick pssshh then nothing? Should I replace the tubbie or trust that the sealant will hold?

Thanks Guys!!

I'm kind of wondering the same thing. Also I'm wondering if you can use "Stan's" sealant, commonly used for tubeless mt bike tires. Anyone know?

Bump....

Ken, what psi do you run in your Tufo's? Are they the tubular/clincher or just sew ups?

The sealant sounds like it did it's job. I use it as a preventative measure as well, Once it has sealed a puncture, there is no way to know how much is remaining. Squeeze another ounce into the tire to be safe.

I don't race on fixed tires, but I don't patch inner tubes either. That is a judgement call.

I haven't used Stan's but I assume it would work.
