Stacking workouts

I've had a change in my work schedule and I now work an early shift, so it makes more sense for me to do both my workouts in the afternoon-evening on days where I have a double session (I used to do one in the AM before work, one in the PM after work).

If I have a 1-hour run and 1-hour swim day, is there any reason I need to take a "break" in between workouts, or can I just go from one straight into the other? In other words, is there any reason I can't/shouldn't do it as a swim-run "brick?"

On the face of it shouldn't matter than much as long as I make sure to fuel the workouts a bit since we're looking at a 2+ hour session. Just curious what others are doing. Target race is Kona (got my slot at Hurricane-man last year :)
