Spokes making a pinging noise
I have noticed my front spokes seem to be making a faint pinging noise. There’s nothing touching them and none seem loose.

Any ideas what this could be?

Try putting a tiny bit of lube on the each nipple, and where spokes contact each other when they cross over where there are crossover spokes. Triflow-type lube.

Many thanks. Although they don’t cross over.
It’s on a hed jet 6 wheel.

...also the skewer, particularly the cam joint. Often noise from other parts of the wheel sounds like it's the spokes, but isn't.

When you accelerate after braking hard? Lots of little pings for a few seconds and then they stop until you do it again?

That is normal for some low spoke count wheels with disc brakes, and nothing to worry about.
