I'm putting my wife's 1996 LS Ultimate (first year with the bladed downtube) up for sale. It is full 9-speed DA (1998 vintage). Would you advise trying to sell it as a complete bike or part it out? If complete, what do you think I could reasonably expect to get? If parted out, what do you think the frame should fetch?

trade it in at www.preownedbikes.com and get a new ghisallo !!!
seriously - i don't think you could get significantly more money selling the complete bike compared to the frameset alone. might be easier though ...

Well, the problem is that her back hurts too much to ride anymore. The recumbent (Egad!) solution is being considered.
