High school was awesome. I totally would've hung out with you. Especially if you wore your chef hat.

I'll go with tigerchik.

I've got a mental picture that she is incredibly hot, her posts are usually humorous and/or intelligent and sounds like a great swimmer. Even if she isn't any of these, she could surely help me with my swimming.

"stalked tigerchik" is right, you knew exactly who I was at Timberman a few years ago, I still haven't forgiven you for not introducing yourself!

maybe she's born with it, maybe it's chlorine

Threads like this remind me of my high school yearbook days. Had I not been invoked to stand up for a certain
individual, I have no interest seeing who's winning the popularity contest.

Swimfan plump? Uh no.....[/img]

Sorry, this *permission granted* photo is all you get and it's not BullSh*t.

and since were on the subject, SlayerHateBreed is my favorite ST'r and has been since I signed on to this forum.
He's fast on his feet witty, makes me laugh AND for bonus points, he drove to Timberpaloosa and followed us athletes ( me hobbling) around the course supporting us and cheering. Oh and Learn..I met him on the run course there too sort of. I've had dinner with Paulo and swam with Tigerchik, tried to give a mattress to Rappstar, given beer and photographed Trukweaz..blah blah blah.....

I agree with the stickers. I do so many races that have ST'ers in them and no one has the guts to just shout into the crowd "hey, any ST'ers here?". People look at you like "What? That guy has an STD? Get away from me!".

Yeah, right. Hit on you while your Dad was standing right there.

;-)

edit: Just how long do you think your tri career would have lasted if a snarky 50 something year old started chatting you up in one of your first races right in front of your Dad?

lol

You met me at the patriot this year, also. At the post race massage tent, your dad brought us fruit while we waited which was pretty cool.

As far as people I'd like to meet...
Dev Paul - for his experience and comments that help keep stuff in perspective sometimes.
Monty - same reason
Brian in MA - helped me with a bunch of questions about shoulder surgery and recovery
xraycharlie - for being glad I'm still alive after hearing my bike crash story

Would like to meet anyone, really, although generally at races I'm quiet/shy and fairly focused on what I'm doing (or about to do, or what I've already done...)

Brian in MA helped me as much as any STer ever...I was walking along river road melting during epicman last year and, although I had never met him before, he stopped and asked if I wanted ice and a cold gatorade...very cool

Particularly if I could convince her that I won an IM.

I have met Becca and I was pretty disappointed. His wife is pretty cute though...

How can I forget xraycharlie? The stories he has about crashing his bike are amazing.
