Other = Zoot for me. I stockpiled a few pairs of the Ultra TT, but can still buy several other models online from Shoebacca...at least for a while.

I'm kinda curious as to whether or not there's some bias in the sampling here - whether or not we're getting a larger variance of the "other" responses earlier in the polling period versus the sampling previously.

That being said, my guess as to what manufacturer was missing was adidas. But that's usually more of the European contingent lamenting its omission rather than the US marketplace making changes.

I was really suprised to see Adidas not in this list. Then I realised maybe they don't have the same presence in the US.

In the UK at least they have a healthy share of the market which includes me

adidas has been growing in terms of the overall run base here over the last 4 years or so, but it hasn't translated into the triathlon marketplace much.

I think in historic polls I took adidas out because it dwindled to low single digits. But maybe they need to be pot back in there.

Yeah, I think that's probably right. Ever since Boost launched five years ago, they've been pulling in-roads in run specialty. It hasn't translated as much into the tri marketplace, per se, but I've definitely watched an uptick in them at run races.

That said, you're going to have some weird variability in that bottom end of the pile - all depending on who replies at the given time the survey is run. I'd be interested to crack the larger data using, say, USAT's membership file or WTC's customer database to survey off of, and get an indication there versus our universe here. See if the data holds or if our sampling is potentially off.

Anyways, now I'm just being a geek.

yep, adidas here too.
In UK, most of elite runners in my area wear adidas but not many triathletes I know of.

Adidas Adistar and Ultraboost. Much prefer the Adistars, but they have been discontinued.
