Not sure if this has been mentioned already, I know UK Gear Muncher is a fan.
Bob Brown is setting off on August 2 to run across Europe. As you may know he has run across Australia (coming 4th) and America last year (coming first). This section is a solo attempt, with support team. He starts in Lisbon and runs to the Europe/Asia border in the Ural Mountains, Russia. 4,200 miles in under 80 days.
He has started his dairy already ay www.bobbysrun.co.uk and usually updates daily, or at least weekly. He is a wonderfully motivational guy, and has passed on some great learning experience to myself. He's also helping raise money for CHICKS which is a local charity down in Cornwall.
