Rookie VO2
I am 35 and after 15 years of sedentarism I decided to change my life. I lost 15 kg and I'll do my first sprint triathlon in 2 weeks. My VO2 is 44 ml/Kg/min (at the beggining of the year, before training). After 8 months of hard training what VO2 should I expect ? How much can a person like can improve? Is it real important for non pro ?

Thanks

EQL

What's your absolute V02Max (i.e.: not normalized by your body weight)?

-- 20 to 25 % would be my guess. In absolute terms (L VO2/min). in relative terms (ml/kg/min), it depends on how much weight you lose also.

Is it real important for non pro ?
-- No.
