I really like running in my Hoka Speedgoat 2 and will likely use it during my next IM. I think the offroad thread works quite well on pavement but still im wondering if there are any other Hoka with similar feeling to the Speedgoat but meant for roadrunning?

I agree. I use mine allround, but I could do without the sound the make on the pavement. Anyone?

Clifton 5 is the road analog I believe
I love the Speedgoat 2 for trail running, but they're CRAZY loud onroad, and unnecessarily heavy as a daily trainer. I'm using Cavu's as my regular training shoe (I wear a 1/2 size smaller in the Cavu than the Speedgoat 2 FWIW)
