You guys are lucky, I'm outside in my shed in 35 degree weather!! Lawn Mower to the left, Patio furniture on the right, Old Paint supplies! Very nice. However I do have a small DVD player and the HBO series "Band of Brothers" Box set.

I was starting to wonder if I was the only one who wasn't inside the house. I had to run an extension cord to hook up my laptop and a clamp-on work lamp to see by. Man, some of you guys (and girls) have some pretty sweet setups.

I often put my bike on the back porch - once it was about 30 out - I was on the trainer. Shorts, no shirt music blasting...skin was steaming in the air. Neighbors thought I was nuts. Moved the trainer to the garage...but I was far to far from the sound system. Now I just open the back door and let the cold in...trying to make up the carbon being saved by Mattinsf and GregX...I just tack it on to my gas bill :-)

I took over one of our bedrooms to make it a dedicated workout room. I got everything I need, except for a new carbon bike. Santa disappointed me this year ;-)
I guess this is not necessarily dungeon-like, but it'll suffice.

Things I wonder - and I wish I could reply to others:

1) I don't know how anyone can ride a trainer with even mild intensity without a huge fan facing them. I usually use two.

2) I can't see how watching a TV show helps you keep your intensity up. Music videos? Maybe. But Deadliest Catch???

Hot weather doesn't bother me one bit, so riding inside without a fan doesn't really phase me.

At home I ride 100% with either music of TdF videos. I hate riding to TV. I find it incredibly difficult. But when I ride with my dad he likes to watch tv. So it's a concession I'm willing to make

:-)

Oh, and I can usually handle watching sports as long as the games are exciting.

I have the same bowflex. Have you found that over time, a few years, the power rods loose some of their flex. As much as I would like to think I have gotten that much stronger, I suspect the rods have lost some of their resistance - which makes me wonder about replacing them.

I agree with you on this one. I need a lot more air movement in my setup. My room has a ceiling fan that helps when I put it on full blast, but I still sweat like a pig. I am on the search for a decent pedestal fan that will move a lot of air.

To be honest, I've probably only used it 20 times over the last several years. I really don't like the feel of it. I probably should try to sell it off on eBay. It's been one of my biggest wastes of money.

- Not every ride is supposed to be high intensity

You're welcome!

Why don't you show us the trainer dungeon you've set up in your moms basement?
